Browse CCS aligned IEP goals on graphing and working with data for Kindergarten to 12th grades
Graphing and data might seem like niche skills for IEP goals but they are foundational to so much of science, statistics, and students’ ability to interpret what they see in the media. These are still not the most common IEP goals out there– but they can be incredibly helpful for catching a student up to grade level standards across both mathematics and science. They especially come into play in algebra and geometry where so much of the work is done on the coordinate plane. At the same time, these goals are best for students who are working closer to grade level. If a student is significantly below, it is likely that some of the other goals (like on word problems) might be more useful for the student.
