Special education ends at a diploma or age 22, whichever comes first. That’s where the protections and services under IDEA stop.

But individuals with disabilities are just starting what we hope will be rich and rewarding lives– so what happens next? How do students get services in college? Are there adult services? When do the people with disabilities start getting a voice in making decisions?
